You may be exempt from completing the owner builder course if you: • Hold a current BSA licence • Hold a qualification that meets the minimum technical qualification for any BSA licence (not including interstate licences) • Have a current Interstate builder or trade contractor's licence You may also be exempt from completing the owner builder course if you are any of the following professions: • Civil Engineer • Architect • Building Surveyor • Assistant Building Surveyor • Building Technician • Quantity Surveyor • Electrician (not including restricted licences) • A qualification that would entitle the applicant to one of the above professions |
